Job Description

Product Marketing is key in this stage of Pelico’s growth: it will connect the product to be marketed with the different audiences: target market, active prospects, existing customers, Product team, Sales team and Marketing team. The objective is to make our future customers understand the importance and usefulness of our SAAS.

We are looking for our first Product Marketing Manager, who will be the bridge between Product,

Sales, Business, and Marketing. With your broad scope of actions, you will bring a business dimension to the product-based decisions we will be making as we expand across industries and geographies.

  • A customer dimension: understand what the customer wants and needs, both now and in the future as we expand our relationship

  • A product dimension: know the product and its usage in-depth, being able to articulate the value of the product from a benefit-focus perspective

  • A market dimension: study the market to understand what tools different industries use to overcome the shortcomings of their existing solutions, and how Pelico compares to the status quo and other competitors

  • A positioning dimension: establish a strong identity for Pelico in the mind of target customers and how it stands apart from the competition, and provide insights to improve our pricing strategy

  • A message dimension: convert features into customer benefits to highlight the characteristics and advantages of Pelico by providing an impactful message to the right audience (B2B personae)

  • A support dimension: help internal teams understand and sell our product to best support our customers (sales enablement, customer success)

  • A launch dimension: closely collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure all improvements/announcements are effectively communicated to all internal and external audiences through various channels, and monitor the success of each launch.


    What you'll do & learn 📖

    In your day to day, your missions will be to:

    • Develop a deep understanding of the industries and geographies where Pelico can add value to organizations
    • Understand what existing and potential customers need within their organizations, and how the Pelico platform can help them with their Operations problems
    • Build marketing & sales enablement material, making sure to address every pertinent buyer personae
    • Closely collaborate with Sales and Growth teams to create and drive campaigns and presentations with both potential and existing customers
    • Explore usage scenarios across different industries and prioritize which features/functions/solutions will be most impactful in the markets we want to target
    • Work with different internal and external stakeholders to package the product in a way that resonates with our customers and end-users
    • Monitor the competition and provide strategic insights that are relevant to the direction of the business and product
    • Drive work autonomously, demonstrate pragmatist & agility

Preferred Experience

  • Background in Business, Economics, Engineering, and/or Marketing (MBA preferred)

  • Previous experience in product marketing, or equivalent experience in leading the development of go-to-market strategies

  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders simultaneously, incorporating their feedback into the strategy and planning

  • Solid Excel skills, able to develop analyses that drive insights

  • Previous experience presenting to executive teams and existing/potential customers
