Job Description

As a lead of Pelico's DevOps team, you won't just be an executor, but a strategist. You will drive innovation while mentoring a team of DevOps engineers to maintain and optimize our cloud infrastructure. While you'll be deeply involved in technical intricacies, your broader vision will help in diversifying and fortifying our multi-cloud strategy.

What you'll do & learn 📖

  • Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring career growth and professional development.

  • Strategy Development: Build a long-term DevOps strategy and roadmap.

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvements in scalability, security, and efficiency of our infrastructure.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with various engineering teams, product management, and stakeholders to ensure product and infrastructure alignment.

  • Design & Automation: Oversee design and fortify automation processes to ensure maximum uptime and efficient CI/CD pipelines.

  • Incident Management: Lead incident response and resolution processes, ensuring minimal downtime.

  • Knowledge Sharing: Ensure your team documents and shares knowledge, fostering a culture of collective growth.

  • Security & Compliance: Ensure that all infrastructure and developments adhere to industry security standards and regulations. You will work with the security team on this topic.

Requirements 🎯

  • Proven experience in leading and mentoring a team of DevOps engineers.

  • Strong architectural and strategic planning skills in multi-cloud environments.

  • Ability to ensure and improve IT resource availability of 99.95%.

  • Previous hands-on experience in technical support with a track record of swift problem resolution is a big plus.

  • Proficiency in developing tools and scripts for automation, CI/CD.

  • Expertise in Linux administration, gitlab-ci, Ansible, docker, k8s, and more.

  • Fluency in English (both written & spoken).

Our office is based in Paris. Onsite onboarding is mandatory, but flexibility in working remotely afterwards can be discussed.
