Job Description

As a member of Pelico’s engineering team, the ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in designing and building the core platform.

Devops team is in charge to improve our cloud infrastructure by ensuring a good scalability of our solution in virtualized environments. Day to day routine is to ensure operability of our products in our Azure infrastructure but also at Cloud providers such as OVH (we desire to diversify our infrastructure on multicloud solutions)

Missions 🏆

  • Ensure the continuity of IT service & provide IT support to any user

  • Design and develop continuously our infrastructure through tooling and automation

  • Resolution of incidents in production

  • Identify performance and stability issues

  • Build a knowledge base of recurring incidents (Devops library)

  • Work in an agile way with a squad composed with back end devs, Data SW Engineers, P.M

Preferred Experience

Requirements 🎯

  • Ability to calibrate, organize and implement an availability of IT resources of 99.9% (both internal IT and on premise/cloud IT deployed for our customers)

  • Track records in Level 1 technical support with a resolution time of the order of an hour for the most frequent problems

  • Experience in developing tools and administrating scripts to automate a continuous integration and deployment (completely automated deployment and tested in few minutes)

  • Expert on the following stack (Linux administration, gitlab-ci, Ansible, docker, k8s…)

  • Fluency in English (both written & spoken)

  • Based in Paris area and happy to work from the office most of the time

  • Strong interest in scripting (bash, python), administrating network and system, playing with containers & cloud

  • Ability to face issues and be patient

  • Humble, sense of service, rigor

  • Eagerness to share knowledge around you

  • Team player and comfortable in working with others

  • Self-learner & curious about new Tech practices & stacks: you’re regularly meet with peers

  • Based in France & OK to come at the office when it's necessary
